Ready or not!

Not quite sure if I'm totally ready for a newborn and everything

that goes with them but I am ready to not be pregnant.

Also I feel bad I haven't sewn as much as I did

for Avery's arrival but I did manage to sew this tiny dress.

I usually don't even put my babies in dresses for weeks

so who knows if she'll every wear it but I've always

wanted to make it. It's called an Itty Bitty Baby Dress and

I got the tutorial/pattern on this website if you want to try.

Less than 3 weeks!

Babymoon

Mike and I went down to St George two weeks ago

for a last hurrah before having our third baby. I was

initially a little sad at leaving my girls on the drive down

there but we quickly got over it when it was so easy

to do everything! We were never in a hurry, took our

time getting ready at the hotel, ate where ever we

wanted and slept in. It was just what we needed. 15

degrees warmer, and sunny the entire time. We saw

a few of the church sites, went to the temple (beautiful!),

shopped and ate. Heavenly!

I was recharged for a few days and now it has worn off

and I want to go back. J/K. I guess I'm just ready to

have this baby! Less than 4 weeks!

He turned 32.

Oldie but goodie

So about forever ago (August I think...) Mike dragged me to San Diego.

Normally he wouldn't have to drag me but we had just

gotten pregnant like eight weeks before and I hadn't been sicker.

Needless to say I am glad we went because just going to the

beach and seeing the girls have the time of their

lives with their cousins made it all worth it.

The best part...the beach!!!

I could go everyday if I lived there....

that is if you didn't have to deal with

sand in every crevice of your kids bodies.

I love to see the temple...

We went to the temple recently and it was so nice to

just go up for no reason at all except to admire it and

everything around it. We had so much fun admiring the

flowers and the fountains and the temple itself.

We are so blessed to live so close.

Matchy match

I had extra fabric from my shirt dress I recently made

so I made a couple skirts for the girls. I wanted them to

match but not be the exact same, so this is what I came up

with. Jaden's has the faux placket that looks more similar to my

dress and I've always wanted to try pintucks so that's what I

did with Avery's. Now my mom says we all need to wear

our dresses at the same time but I think that might

be going too far. We'll see. I know Jaden would dig it!

One morning Jaden requested one of my Pilates

videos. She finished the whole thing without any

persuasion from me.

So she found this in her Easter basket. She does it all the time.
